The gypsy is constructed from durable marine-grade stainless steel or galvanized steel for corrosion resistance. Chain viscosity is not applicable, but the gypsy operates smoothly with minimal friction. Buoyancy is negligible for steel chains, but nylon rode options may be used in combination. The gypsy is designed for 12V or 24V DC power systems, with a pulling capacity of up to 1,500 kg depending on the model.
