Anchor chains are typically Grade 30 or Grade 40 high-tensile steel, with a working load limit of 1,250 kg to 3,200 kg depending on size. Chain viscosity is not applicable, but galvanized or stainless steel materials ensure corrosion resistance. Buoyancy is negligible due to the chain's density.
