Anchor chains are typically Grade 30 or Grade 40 high-tensile steel, with a working load limit of 1,500 kg to 3,000 kg. Chain material is galvanized or stainless steel for corrosion resistance. Buoyancy is negligible due to metal density. Viscosity is not applicable, as chains are solid.
